The Canary Islands are probably Europe’s premier all-year-round active holiday destination. The climate is generally pleasant whatever time of year you go, with practically no rain. Even in the depths of a northern European winter, the temperature rarely falls below 18°C. Many people use the islands as a winter training base to prepare themselves for the sports season ahead. In the summer months, daily highs often top the mid-30s, therefore, we do not offer this trip during summer.
Just a note: although pretty at any time of year, the islands are remarkably verdant and beautiful in February when the almond trees are in bloom.
