From riding high in the M’Goun Atlas Mountains to riding the red rock canyons of the Dades valley to traversing the volcanic Jbel Sagro massif, here you will find some short videos to illustrate the great views and amazing people you will encounter on your journey.
HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAIN PASSES, M’GOUN
In this video, Pedro May climbs 4071m to the top of M’Goun with the help of some locals. Get to see the breathtaking scenery around the remote Mount M’Goun area. You will be biking in this area for the first four days. You’ll also get to witness Berber hospitality in action.
HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAIN PASSES, M’GOUN
An enduro (downhill) travel company takes some riders to the summit of M’Goun. We specialise in cross-country riding, although we show you this enduro video so that you can see just how beautiful the M’Goun area is. Our summit lies at Tizi n’Ouerz (2892 m), and you will bike every bit of it uphill.
THE VALLEY OF A THOUSAND KASBAHS
A daytrip in the Dades Valley is scheduled for the middle of our journey. This ride gives you a good idea of what to expect from biking around the valley of a thousand kasbah’s, including the stunning valleys and striking desert moon landscapes around Boumalne Dades.
JEBEL SAHRO & DRAA VALLEY
This video shows the itinerary of the Seven Kasbah Trail, our other Morocco trip. The last days of the ‘Seven Kasbah Trail’ and the ‘Original Amazigh’ trail are similar. Check out the section from 6m25s to witness the traverse of the volcanic Jbel Sagro massif and the ride along the Draa River palm oasis.
JEBEL SAHRO
Check out the Jbel Sagro rock formations. Mojo, a service company for MTB FOX suspension, headed to Morocco to make a series of short films that show just how durable and capable modern bike suspensions are. In this episode, the Mojo crew take downhill world champion Fabien Barel to Jebel Sahro.
MARRAKESH
You’ll spend the last night in Marrakesh in the Medina quarter. After the desolate beauty of Morocco’s hinterland, Marrakesh will be a delightful shock to the senses. It’s a whirl of snake charmers, donkey rides and carpet sellers, mint tea, grandiose Islamic architecture and tight labyrinthine streets.
